How hot is too hot for a case temp?

My desk has this stupid compartment obviously to store a pc in, but when I put my tower in and close the door the case temp gets pretty high. 35-36 degree celcius seems normal, and doing cpu intensive stuff I've seen it get up to 45, might have gone higher but I opened the door and let it cool...

Recommend a 17" LCD w/dvi and A/V Inputs?

Cool. I've been searching since I posted and found a few. I'll definately let you know how it goes and what the quality is. Do you think I'd be able to attach the box to the VGA port on my monitor, and my pc to the DVI port? That would probably be the best bet, right??

Really? Maybe I am using the wrong word? What are the three connectors found on most vcr's and some tv's now, that are red, white, and yellow called? I swear I've seem LCD's in best buy with these. Anyone?

Laptop Cdrom in regular pc?

Actually, that connector is just the casing for the drives. If you take that off they all have a standard IDE/power connector that I believe you can find adapters to convert to a normal IDE cable. I've wondered for a while why manufacturers don't switch to using the slim drives.

Can't get PHP, MySQL, and Apache to work together!!!?

Hey, I finally got this thing working. Its been a pain in my side for the last 3 days, but in a nutshell, this is what I had to do: reconfigure apache with the so directive then configure php using the --with-apxs= instead of --with-apache= do a make clean on php to get rid of errors edit...

Can't get PHP, MySQL, and Apache to work together!!!?

This is on a linux 7.2 It had Apache and PHP 4.06. I installed MySql, hoping I could make this work. Nada. So I re-installed PHP to version 4.2.1, and Apache, but it still doesn't work. PHP is loaded as a module, but it looks like the module is still version 4.0.6. I tried recompiling PHP...

WAKE ON LAN w/k7s5a and router

Mobile Pentium 1000mhz for labtops, where can I get them?

Go for a mobile celeron. They have 256k cache, .13u process, and 133mhz FSB, and speeds up to 1.4ghz. As good or better then the 1000mhz P3, and ALOT cheaper!! GO CELERY!

Ordered a new laptop, Help ME ACCESSORIZE:-)

My Toshiba Satellite 1200-s121 should be arriving in a few days. It comes with built in wireless, so I already have a home wireless solution up my sleeve. What else should I get? I need help finding a nice carrying case. I'd like something small, light, non-leather. Any recommendations...

which is the best router out there ?

Really they are all pretty much the same. Just go to best buy and look for whatever is on clearance or open box. I got my netgear R311 for $30:-) I do have one gripe, but i think its my ISP's fault. On my Adelphia cable modem, I sometimes lose DNS info, and I have to reboot my router.
