Apparently. Instead of giving gamers the feature options, which they can turn on or off, some people would rather the feature options not even be there in the first place, giving gamers less options in terms of visual quality in games. I don't get it either. I am for, not against, moving...

That would be incorrect. When we look for areas in games to use as our run-through we look for the areas that are the most gpu intensive. We use both NV and AMD GPUs, find this area, and use that. It is dependent on the game, not the GPU.

Just a point of correction, perhaps you should re-read our Witcher 3 page in regards to HairWorks being on, and off, what we found playable, and what we found by enabling it as well for tessellation performance.

Grand Theft Auto V Becomes Gaming Evolved Game Title with Contact Hardening Shadows

I was just googling tree shadows, heh, what I notice is that at the trunk, near the tree, it is a hard shadow edge, as the shadow increases in perspective on the ground it does blur outward the farther it is. So I think a shadow with all hard edges is wrong, and a shadow with all soft edges...
