i7 High End Gaming PC Build

Splurge is so bad (LOL) i assume you would use the 10k RPM WD Velociraptor for boot drive. I would suggest the 300gb over 150gb for the difference of only $40-50 shouldn't be a big deal against your budget. on the monitor, not all the ToC's are worth buying, you should do more research on these...

that's half correct, b/c many low profile cards also comes w/ regular bracket which you can interchange for it to fit in a regular case. the thing i like about many 'egg items is that they give you an image of the item w/ all the accessories laying out so you can see and make sure before doing...

about the TV what's the resolution on it? HD or not some large TV only supports smaller than normal monitor resolution. my 32" lcd only goes 13xx X 7xx so i can only imagine the resolution is really something like 1440x900 or 1650x1080 need spec from TV

unless you have a x58 mobo, if you want future upgrade try to get video cards that are from the same manufacturer as the chipset on the board (e.g. Nvidia chipset / Nvidia cards; AMD chipset / ATi cards). wouldn't want you to find out yourself later that AMD boards dont do SLi or other way...
