Terabyte BootitNG users, need some help please

Maybe someone can help me out with this. I've set up a two hard drive (identical drives) dual OS (W98, XP) system, and used Terabyte's BootitNG to set up a second partition on the second hard drive. On the BootitNG Boot Menu there are two options; HD0 and HD1. Here's the setup: C: HD 0...

New Sound card needed, recommendations? (Linux only machine)

Just a comment...I've been using the SBLive for quite a while, and have been very pleased with it, so I'd probably stick with the company for my next sound upgrade.

Thanks for the input guys. Seems like most everyone who has/had Maxtor or WD is pretty happy with their choice...I'll have to check out that new Seagate, too. Semper Fi Lone Wolf.

What HSF do you recommend ?

Thanks MoFunk. I see that setup recommended many places for an AMD processor. Wonder if it would also work with the P4 ? Anyone know, or have any other recommendations ?

ABIT BX133 RAID Beeping?

A long/continuous beep with Award bios means there's a system memory problem. If reseating it doesn't help (or installing in different slots), and you see all your memory in the post, it's possible that you may have to change brands and/or upgrade to higher quality memory to use that fsb speed.

What HSF do you recommend ?

What heat sink/fan combination is most effective for an overclocked 1.5ghz P4 on an ASUS P4b266 ? Can't seem to find any good info for that setup. TIA for any recommendations.

3.3v or 1.5v AGP, how do you know

I've read where putting a 3.3v AGP card on an 845 chipset motherboard can cause big trouble. How can you tell what the voltage is for any given video card ? Doesn't say on the manufacturer's website, or in the specs for the card that I own (not that I've found anyway). Anyone know for sure ...

CPU Freezes up when playing games and movies

Can anyone direct me to a really good joystick for simulators

Personally, the best I have seen for total immersion is the Thrustmaster setups (certainly haven't seen them all, of course). The one I use isn't available anymore, but they're 'supposed' to be releasing their new hotas sticks in a couple of months.

Game Port problem with SbLive

It's probably not the SBLive. MS Sidewinder stuff has been having lots of problems with the 'Not Connected' message with all different cards. Problems posted many places on the internet. See if this helps you. Fixes

Your thoughts on RAID...

I think that RAID for what the average Anandtechie uses his computer for is overkill This is just a hobby for me, so I couldn't agree more with that statement. Unless it really matters to a gamer that their 'save game', or 'load game', takes 6 seconds instead of 10 (for instance), why risk...
