Not to bad mouth Maxtor, I had bad luck, maybe. This year I had 6 Maxtor died (300GB -- 500GB), I had enough of Maxtor. I know, every brand has its share of dead drive; wish you guys have better luck than I did.

Onboard video chip better than GeForce 5600 Ultra?

My GeForce 5600 Ultra serves me well for a few years. It's time for a new computer. Just wonder, should I ditch 5600 for today's onboard video chip? I did search a few articles, however, I didn't find comparable benchmark for them.

There is a site has every emachine's driver. My memory didn't serve me well, is it call emachine upgrader, or somthing like that? Google didn't get me there. Please help.

Most of people are happy with earplug comes with iPod, if one doesn't know what's the good, how can one judge the bad? $300 Shure sounds like $10,000 stereo system, but portable. Some can hear the difference and can afford it, why not?

YMMV - Lenovo 3000 N100 for $799 AR at Office Depot (slightly upgraded model)

I got all rebates but one $150, it said I did not send UPC. Went back to store, showed the manager copies of rebate document, manager credited back to credit card. Oh, next time remember to use registered mail, I heard they don't dare to mess with post master.
