Burial laws?

He lives out in the sticks...about as rural as you can get, heh. I'll tell 'em to check with his city hall or something when the time comes. Thanks for the info folks.

Burial laws?

My best friend has a relative who is getting on in years (and I think has Parkinson's disease, if I recall :(), and probably won't be around much longer. He wants to be buried on his own property with as much privacy as possible. But is that even legal these days? Are they going to get in...

Argh! Any Direcway users out there able to use BitTorrent?

You know, now that I think about it, a lot of things aren't working right: -Xfire won't log in -mIRC gives me a "[10053] Software caused connection abort" error -Outlook Express can't connect to my mail server And, hell....two other computers, one on the second network, are both doing...

Argh! Any Direcway users out there able to use BitTorrent?

This is driving me freakin' insane. We recently moved to a very remote area, and we had a Direcway satellite connection installed. Two actually, we have a lot of computers. Each connection has a Netgear RP614 v3 router on it. Now generally, it's fine. We have to brush snow off if it comes...

One lucky man

Luck indeed. His first stupid move? Matches not in a water proof container, no actual compass or GPS (a GPS would've saved him on the first day) and no 'just-in-case' food. His second stupid move? Moving further into the middle of nowhere >.< I wouldn't have dragged him into my chopper...

http://itd.idaho.gov/dmv/driverservices/driver_manual.pdf Do a Ctrl-F and type 'Parking', and search it till you find the bit on street parking. I called the skills tester for my area, and he says it's not parallel parking...but his description was a little vague. Can anyone enlighten me?

Switching from one connection to two.

Hmmm...those are pretty awesome and all, and Newegg has a few for sale ('cept the Xincom is out of stock), but they still only go up to 4 LAN ports...we have 8 computers, so I'd end up needing two routers anyway >< Unless another router can be plugged into one of those WAN ports? Sorry...I'm...

We're moving next week and we'll be going from one cable connection to dual satellite connections. We have a lot of computers, and since I can't stick two net connections into a single router, we need to buy a second networking device to move some over to the other connection. Trouble with...

DirecTV must die!

Our neighbour, being a Grade-A+ Asshole, knocked our dish out of allignment once. We have a billion trees around here and we couldn't find the azimuth to reallign it so we called a DirecTV guy. He was cool...he wrote down the azimuth/elevation when he was done, told us how to get to the signal...

Soft Contacts?

I ain't getting lasik. Firstly, I fear longterm side effects. Secondly, many fire departments make you go through a lot of extra crap if you have had lasik. Thirdly, if I see the halos or anything like that, or lose my night sight, I imagine my chances of even getting hired would go down -very-...
