using a laptop as a lcd monitor for a desktop

hi i was wondering if there was a way to get a pcmcia or usb card that allows you to use your laptop monitor as an LCD display for your desktop computer thanks

Question about TV-out.

what if the tv is a flat picture tube television? will the computer look good on it and will it work as well as a monitor would?

Why is text unreadable on a TV when my computer is hooked up to it?

hi i was just curious if the display would be like a monitor on a flat tv, my reasoning is because lcd's are flat, so a flat tv in a big box is the same. i may be wrong. please let me know it would be cool to use a flat 20" as a monitor for my pc

external firewire hard drive wont get drive letter

for some reason windows xp recognizes that a device is plugged into the 1394 port, but i can not get a drive letter, and help please

Which GeForce 4 TI 4x00 ?

Thanks for the imput, i found a good deal at the geeks, for a gf3 ti 500, $97 less with teh coupon code. I am really excited about this card should be plenty suffiecent for me

funny thing BOOM, i just read your post after i bought the ss51g, with the AGP, But i am still unsure what card to put in. I am thinking of a gf4 mx 440, is the TI important, what does it really do?
