Anyone in the Madison area want to meet for a burger and beer tomorrow night?

Jersey shore? Give me a break. You have to pay for parking and then you have to pay to use the damn "shore," the best of which do not even compare to the crappiest SoCalifornia beach. I had to be in Jersey for three looooong years for grad school, and there is not one redeemable...

AGGGGGGGGH! That damn dog does it again!

They sell a spray at pet stores that contain a rather offensive odor to dogs, but smells fine to humans. It's for owners who have pets that go to the bathroom at particular places in the house (e.g. AMD Junkie's room). Just spray that stuff all over your carpet, and the dog won't even sniff...

How the hell do they do it!!!!!!!!!

I'm with the possession argument. An acquantaince of mine had a laptop that totally screwed up every time she was near it. When I ran diagnostics and re-installed everything it ran fine. I hand it over to her and instant blue screen of death. Totally weird.

fusioncard.com (fleet bank) if you qualify, they have 0% on balance transfers until November. Then it's a fixed 11.99% or something like that, I don't recall. Look them up for details.

Literature and readings.

If you're into classics, read Dumas, especially the Count of Monte Cristo. It's a terrific book--my all time favorite. Just make sure you get an unabridged edition, like the Modern Library one.

Anyone seen the kids movie Recess??

I just did that last weekend. It's a great movie with plenty of laughs and a good message about friendship. I think no matter how old you are, you'll enjoy it.

It's actually kind of neat seeing Keanu do kung fu. After all, he, Laurence Fishburne, and Carrie-Anne Moss did 6 mos of intensive training to do their parts.

how do you make coffee?

I used to work at Starbucks, so Nero my first post is a serious one. If you're going to drink instant, then you're going to get crappy coffee. If it's already ground, then it's crappy coffee. Freshly ground, bought regularly, is the best way. You don't have to get it at Starbucks. You can...
