Why is my computer slower after adding more ram?

<< 98 doesn't really like that much ram, and just for curiosity's sake, are you letting windows decide your page file size or are you setting it? >> I don't know what the heck you are talkin about so Windows must me taking care of it.

When I only had 256mb of ram my computer ran faster than now with 512mb. Is this normal?

How long before PC2100 ram is no longer the the "current" ram?

What I'm trying to say is I still have that extra stick of ram I was supposed to rma when I thought it was defective but if PC2100 is going to be the "standard" for a year or more then I may as well keep it. I'm worried about PC4200 ram coming out next year and becoming the "new standard" ram...

Should I keep this extra stick of ram?

I though I had defective ram but it turns out that I didn't. (long story) I got an RMA number to return it. I only paid $71 for each stick of 256 MB PC2100 crucial ram. They are now $90+. Should I keep it since it isn't defective and the price of ram is sky rocketing? Or should I return it...

What's the deal with these random reboots?

Epox 8kha+ Duron 900 PC2100 350 Enermax psu Fresh install of Windows 98SE I read other treads where some folks said that they were having this random reboot problem with the Epox 8kha+. When I asked about it I was told that the problem was fixed. What the heck is going on. Should I RMA it?
