Free Increased Upload for Verizon DSL

Hmm, I'm an existing Verizon customer and I just tried signing up for Verizon Online DSL on the web but the 1.5Mbps/384Kbps option doesn't show up for me. Is this regional, an automatic upgrade after I sign up, or do new subscribers also have to call the 800 number for Verizon Online DSL...

Will you watch Iron Chef America?

Just watched flay vs sakai on tivo. I can't account for taste, but how did flay beat sakai on plating and originality?!? Seems like a total sham to me. SAKAI GOT FLAY-ED!!!

I don't see the Nokia 5100 on the ecallplus website. Anyone know if it can be switched over or is the phone locked to Tracfone service?

Anyone else get their rebate yet? I filled in $6 for the amount and qty as 3, and they sent me a single $6 rebate. Postage-wise it would have made more sense for them to have sent me a single $18 rebate check, so now I'm a little concerned that I screwed up:P Anyone receive 3 x $6 checks...

What goes into motherboard design?

Mday is right about cost being the primary motivation for device selection, but there are often other considerations. As already mentioned EMI is a big issue, and is true of any consumer electronics device requiring FCC certification. Often there are thermal considerations, eg I'm trying to fit...

Thanks Rossman!!! Update: It's a useful list, but when I called the Half.com #, it first told me to call another number 1-800-545-9857, and when I called that second number, there was a message that basically stated that ALL Customer Support will have to be via email at service@half.com . Oh...
