Here's a thread on OCZ forums about rebate process, hope it helps someone.

No TRIM w/ RAID yet, but GC seems to be doing the job well enough w/ FW1.5. Check OCZ support forums for more info.
I have 2 30G Vertex in RAID0 and it is awesome.
My unscientific result is that I couldn't be happier with my first SSD (SuperTalent GX 64GB.) I went from 2x6400AAKS in RAID0.
I rarely wait on anything anymore. If I start a program it just fires right up. Everything is that much smoother. Regular use of four instances of Firefox w/...
Have you seen the benchmarks for the respective configs?

With two drives you also have two pieces of hardware to use to troubleshoot against if something goes wrong. Of course you have two...
The OCZ support forum is great for specifics about their hardware, have you checked it out?
As far as the choice, I'd go with 2 smaller drives in RAID for the performance. I'd go with either OCZ 30GB or Intel 40GB. You're already going to have the controller in RAID anyway, so you're relying...
From what I gather 2 sticks of low voltage RAM is best for AMD. Check that it has AM3 support specifially, and check NewEgg user reviews or the mfg's forum to make sure others are using it too, on AM3. (I recently learned this lesson the hard way.)
SSD's are still in the PITA stage of tech at this point, regardless of RAID. RAID just adds incrementally to the pain (Just the way I see it.) As for the difference:
Here's 1x64GB Vertex:
Here's 3x30GB Vertex, on AMD no less:
Those are just the two examples I found first, taken from the...
I have the Super Talent Indilinx 60Gb, but to it do over again again I would have gone with two of these instead:

(Or 3, at your price point.)
Correct. Possibly because my controller is set to RAID even though I only have 1 SSD (I forgot to switch from RAID to AHCI when I installed.)
Here's the minute of traces following an emptying of the Recycle Bin (which contains 1 jpg file.) It's in two screenshots, note timestamp overlap...
I just spent 20 minutes trying to verify TRIM is operable using the procmon procedure listed in posts 2&3 here:
http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/showthread.php?66696-New-FW-Flashing
TRIM is not working for me, or at least I'm not seeing the calls in the procmon trace. (which may mean I...
This is coming straight from Intel as far as "Kingston branded" drives.

Which is part of why I went with a ST Indilinx drive instead.
Thanks for the additional info.
If there's one thing I gleaned from the ST 1916 FW thread it's that I will be waiting awhile before applying any new releases to gauge the fallout. Probably a good idea to check the OCZ and Crucial forums for a given release of FW too just to get a...
Thanks Engineer for the info... :) (I'm the one that posted the link to this thread over at [H] in the HotDeals thread there.)
I bit on the 64GB drive. After reading the 1916 "support" thread over on the ST forums I hope I never have a need for real support. :( At least there seem to be a good...
I found a couple reviews (older version of the Noctua) and their performance was about the same. Maybe the newer Noctua is slightly better? But unless you can go to a larger size cooler I'd think your best bet is to keep chuggin with the Ultima's.
