Will there ever be a need for more than 64bit computing?

You just need to change the ID the drive reports to Windows, and geometry information, and create a big partition on it. As long as you don't try to write to that area of the partition, it all works just fine

Issues with Gigabyte GA-MA69GM-S2H

One more strange thing - the new installation of Windows XP SP2 (with slipstreamed security updates) won't print test pages - shits itself with DEP protection error in Windows Explorer. The printer prints just fine (it's an Canon LBP 1120 on USB connection)

AA rechargeable batteries, battery life

I have a Canon A430 - and can fill a 128MB card with 1600x1200 pictures using rechargable 1700mAh rechargeable batteries. I think (with freshly loaded batteries) it can fill the card shooting every picture with flash. Good for about 150+ pictures

What's the point of 1333 fsb?

A new, more efficient engine design...for people who like big engines!

All the similar tanks have engines at the 1000 horse power area - but Abrams (the M1A1 and M1A2 especially) are heavier. Power/weight ratio is 20HP/metric ton for the 1000HP T90 and 22 for the 68 metric tons M1A2)

Good point you are rising here. Isn't USA the country with the biggest deficit? Is USA able to buy oil for any other currency except US dollars? I hope the US dollar remains strong - but it is just a hope, sooner or later another fall in the value of dollar is probable

Much more scary would be the price increases for fuel - when a 5% reduction in global production influences the price a fair bit, a 25% would be catastrophic with regards to price
