GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD4-B3 Takes forever to come out of suspend

I have this mobo and an Intel x25 ssd, and have not experienced the problem. Hard to know where the weak link is without the full system specs.

Exceptional mid range != unequivocally exceptional. Will it play his games well at 1080? Sure, with settings fairly high and everything. Is it better than what ~75% of people are using? According to Steam, sure. I'd still only call it the upper end of average for the current generation of cards...

If you're making a $1000 investment, including a ~$200 outlay on the processor alone, there's no harm in suggesting a ~$20-$30 (I got my Gaia for $20 after discounts on Newegg) extra to protect said investment. If you're already paying extra for a K-series chip, it seems to me (IMO) like a waste...

Gigabyte z68-UD4-B3 BIOS - no GUI

Yeah, the Gaia's been pretty great so far. A lot cheaper than the CM Hyper212+ currently, as well. I want to install a second fan on it to see how well the push/pull setup does for temps.

So... am I OCed?

Use a program like CPUZ to track your processor information. While at idle it should list it at 1.6ghz. Once you put some load on the cpu (say converting a music file or something), it should throttle up to the turbo speed. You can see it happen in real time using CPUZ.

That PC you're rockin' in your sig is rad. How many FPS do you get in qtest DM1? Oh, and on topic, I tend to game more than any other intensive task, I usually go through a video card every two years or so. I can put up with being a generation behind the curve, but two is just too much.
