after searching google and archives of ATHT this is the best schematic i can find for a 12v dc to 120v ac inverter: here but as you can see, this diagram is in ascii :( does anyone have a more useful inverter diagram hopefully NOT in ascii? i want to run some simple lights - either...

the "freebies" thread in the "for sale" category

this thread has 2000 posts in it and is so large, i can bearly open it with cable modem at home or with T1 at work. can it be chopped down by the mods please so it can be opened more easily, perhaps showing only the last 50 posts or so? thx, capybara :) It is already being worked on, but...

i need to learn motor control

can anyone pls recommend to me a website or book to learn motor control for 120v or 277/480 3 phase motors? it should be simple enuf that an electrician (me) can understand it, not theoretical but practical i need to learn this for work

Why no CPU over 5Ghz?

part of the solution is a beowulf cluster of slower cheapos effectively adding up to a supercomputer. 128 computers of 2 ghz each = _______________effective cluster speed. similarly, multiple cores in 1 cpu.

i played the march 27 video, but.... i read first the b52 drops the vehicle, a pegasus rocket takes it to mach 7, and then the scramjet starts up, so if so, this only shows the pegasus going, not the scramjet. right?

Why does a grape in a microwave create plasma?

um, id love to see the video, but i get this error: file type = video clip (not mpeg) windows media player error. unable to decompress. :( i know i can play mpegs, but whats this? video clip isnt a file type is it?

BingBongWongFooey: do you mean bug as in virus/ worm/adware/ whatever? because ive run both avg and adaware6 and found nothing and. or do you mean bug as in "that program is buggy" meaning has errors in its program ?

anysone have these problems w soulseek?

you can find alot of stuff on soulseek but u will find some problems too: 1. a memory leak [ram use keeps increasing] of about 1 MB per hour. i guess this is no big deal, i ran soulseek for a week straight b4 this crashed my system. 2. it doesnt respect you choices of which files to share or...
