From what I've read, the rendering software depends very little on the graphics card - it's a very CPU-intensive process. CARP ><>

I need to spec a machine for rendering (Accu-render) and CAD (AutoCAD 2007) purposes. I'd like the machine to last a good 3 years, so let's beef it up. I've been away from things for too long and would appreciate your input. I'm thinking I'll need dual processors and at least 2 GB of RAM...

Retiring a Server

I made this mistake once and had a really rough time fixing things. I had already physcially moved the old server (God bless E-bay) and couldn't put it back on the network. It will probably take some time for everything to propogate to the new DC. Good luck.
