HTPC Setup help

I'm looking at re-purposing my old computer and setting up an HTPC for my 4 year old through HDMI to a 50inch HDTV. It will mostly be playing stored videos, Netflix, DVD and the occasional browser session for the kids channels and things that need it like pbskids.org/nick.com/Chrome games...

Any Mozart TX style cases out there?

I'm looking for a case that's like the Mozart TX (a cube tower, if you don't know) Are there any cases out there like that anymore? If I could track one of those down, I'd buy it, but I haven't had any luck with that route. I'm looking for something roomy enough for an ATX mobo + 980GTX, tall...

Please help - need 24" 4:3 lcd monitor

KDS makes the Radius RAD-23 23.1in 1600x1200 LCD. They've been on ebay and some other sites plenty of times in the last few months at some really good prices. I was considering getting a couple earlier this year. A few minutes googling, a few emails and some phone calls and you shouldn't have...

Would you prefer 1 good LCD or 2 o.k. LCDs?

I just picked up a 37" 1080p monitor and it's incredible. I can have reference materials (PDFs, browser) open alongside my workspace and it is all totally clear. If you can manage it, get the dual monitors or 1 very large monitor.

Jeebus, that's cheap! I haven't looked at anything Radeon in a while! Hopefully they come with some good pricing for the X2X00 series.

I'm using a Big Typhoon with an overclocked quad. Temperatures are quite reasonable.

I'm using an MSI 975X Platinum PowerUp Edition. Worked great w/ my ES kentsfield. No issues, no BIOS update required, right out of the box.

Why is "Timetable" a dirty word?

Why does the right assume that if a timetable even exists, it will have a date and time for every step, that Osama will be CC'd on it, and then we will give our wives and daughters to the terrorists? What is so hard about saying that we have a series of events predicted and operations planned...

Were you really going to look through all of his military record? Why should he have to explain the dating on his military record? Who cares that much? I'm not in the military, but I do work for the gov't and there are periods of my work history that I can't put on resumes for security reasons...

How long can we keep gay marriage illegal?

Why do so many people care about what 2 consenting adults do? I couldn't care less about someone else's marriage/union/whatever. It doesn't affect mine in the slightest. You can have all of the wacko religious ceremonies you want, but they don't mean crap to the state until that license is...
