9800 pro (not xt) vs 6600 gt for hl2 / cs:s

I have the 6800 GT and it rocks. I bought a cooler fan by Zalaman for it and it kicks A s s s s s . I oc it and it runs so cool I can't beleive it. I play CSS all the time and I hit 138 FPS Nothing else comes close for the price....

Can overclock settings be implemented simply via software?

Bios is the only safe way........ Software will cause problems...

Which SLI motherboard are you using with your AMD X2 processor?

I have an ASUS and a MSI I am going to by ASUS for my next MB, By far a better board. Although I may try DFI by what I have been reading for OCing.

Building a new Computer

I have OCZ Platinum Rev 2 and it works great. you need at least 550W with two 7800GTX I would go with 600W. and OCZ has a nice PSU to.

Video Cards

Okay I see all these Geforce 7800GTX 256MB cards and multiple prices from different manufacturers. Which one is actually the best????? I have a MSI motherboard and I went with a MSI video card but I am not sure if that is the right thing or not. Any feed back or articles whould be great....

I use an 120mm fan on my cpu which cools the ram to. That is my sugestion.

Does anyone know how to really over clock this MB . I can't seem to get it to even be stable at the built in 11% is has in the Bios. Is there tricks to get it to stablize. Thanks

3700 san diego problems!?

I am haveing the same problem and I have a similar setup. I am very new to overclocking to. I can't even use the MB settings of 11% OCing. I am not sure how or what to do next. any sug. please speak in lamen turms. Thank you,

3700+ San Diego Overclocking Hell

I am new to this but I use the built in OC setting in the MB and I have problems just getting it to OC a 11%. I don't understand all of the language you are all using but I thought I would ba able to OC better than 11%. and sugestions.

Pentium 4 3.4 GHz

I recently bought a Pentium 4 3.4 GHz processor. I installed it and it only ran at 2800 MHz. on my ASUS P4P800 Deluxe. I have the AIbooster provided by ASUS installed to verify this. I have a 2.6 GHz processor in it now and it runs at 2600 MHz. Does this sound odd to anyone, or am I just not...
