I have been trying for days to get a copy of wizardry 8. I finally managed to find a copy (like pulling teeth trying to find this game) and got it up and running. I got it installed, got it configured etc. The game seems to run well. I got characters made and then tried to play it. It plays fine...

RAID 1 Troubles

Ok, I double checked . In \Windows\system32\diskmgmt.msc it says that my 'source' disk in 'Basic' and when right-clicked it offers me the choice to convert it to a 'Dynamic' disk. So why would the Migration Wizard tell me that my source disk is Dynamic? Does anyone have any idea at all...

RAID 1 Troubles

Hi, I have a Dell XPS 400 that came with a Western Digital 160 GB HD. I just bought a second WD 160 GB HD, the exact same model number. I want to configure them to RAID 1. I installed the second drive, I enabled it in the BIOS, I enabled RAID in the BIOS too, no problems with any of that...

Need a temp monitoring solution

Need a temp monitoring solution

I tried CoreTemp, It doesn't support my processor, so it shuts down. I tried Everest, it does not work with Dell computers apperantly according to it's product page's FAQ. I tried BIOS after a restart. I checked everywhere in there, I saw absolutely nothing even resembling a temperature...

Pentium D to C2D in XPS

I have a Dell XPS 400 and it has a Pentium D in it. Right before the C2D came out I called Dell and asked them if my computer would be able to handle a C2D upgrade. The lady said no. Is this true? I mean it has a 775 LGA socket, won?t this fit a C2D? If I am not able to upgrade, does anyone know...

System no longer boots, power supply dead?

CPU temerature software?

I always thought that you needed specific hardware (temp monitor) for the CPU to get its temperature. I know that many HDs come with the temp monitor already built in, that may be why that's the only temp showing. I have a similar setup. I use System Info for Windows to check stuff and under...

Well, I decided after looking at all the enclosures etc that I?d rater just get a new tower with a bunch of room and swap everything out. I have never done anything like this?the most I have ever done is swap out a PSU and GPU and upgraded my memory. Are there any problems I need to watch out...

Can I hook up a video game console to my video card?
