I for one really enjoy my phone overall. Sure, the marketplace is lacking but so was Android when it first came out but the Windows marketplace is growing and growing fast, faster than what Android did. I do miss the tinkering of my old Android phone but I actually prefer now to not tinker...
I don't think it's HTC, it's Android. I have an Arrive that has excellent battery life compared to my old Hero. I would get decent battery life if I turned off certain functions but I'll be damned if I have to turn off default programs to make my phone last longer.
I agree. Everyone talks about Android like it's some magical new OS that's going to rule the world. You know what? I'm extremely happy with WM7. All my apps work great and no stability issues.
For clarity the significant power difference is in the GPU which I read is about four times as powerful as the GPU on the Evo 4G. In addition the Thunderbolt has 128MB more RAM than the EVO.
Personally I won't even come close to filling the memory on my Arrive. 16GB is more than plenty :)
And just for the record, so far I really dig my Arrive. Sure, after I bought it they talk about the release of the Evo 3D but to be honest the only things I really like about Android is the...
It's crazy that it took so long to develop phones that have specs that can compare to some home PC's. Just curious how in the future they will be able to manage the heat some CPU's can put out.
