Hmm, thanks.. What I was thinking was buying 2 of them to flank a single flat monitor as part of my gaming PC setup. A 21:9 curved monitor sort of demands to be the middle monitor which doesn't fit my particular (unique?) preference.
Anyone know when curved monitors (either 1080p or 1440p, ie 16:9-ish AR) will be sold commercially (and reasonably priced)? Searching on Google resulted in those weird 21:9 AR monitors or news of curved monitors coming out, but no actual curved monitor.
Curved phones came out a few years...
FYI, we weren't the only 2 to have this issue (btw, when I checked a couple days ago, the voice was coming out of the left channel!). The fine folks in avsforum have noticed this issue and one person even got a month's credit for the issue...
Well supposedly they rolled out this Super HD thing yesterday to select cable providers. Perhaps that had something to do with it? I have Charter Cable...
Funny you mention this.. I was watching Fringe on my PS3 (connected to a Sony receiver via HDMI). And it sounds like the front right and center speakers were flipped.. When I stopped Netflix and watched a Bluray, everything was fine (voice coming out of center speaker)..
I don't remember this...
So my job won't install drivers on my work laptop because they say that they do not allow personal mouses. The mouse they issued was the standard HP mouse.
Given that I have Windows XP SP3 installed, is there a mouse that I can buy that allows for both vertical AND horizontal scrollwheel...
Your sound might be diverting to the HDMI out on your 6150. Just go to your audio control and change your audio output to your onboard sound. I'm at work with crappy XP so I can't give you better directions.
I have an i7 920 with a 4870 (waiting on the 7--- series), and I play Skyrim on High settings at 1920x1080 and it plays fine. The FPS does drop every once in a while when I'm spinning around like a top in a big city like Solitude, but the game looks and plays fine. Not sure what CPU you're...
I have my movies in folders by decade [MOVIES 1980s] [MOVIES 1990s] [MOVIES 2000s]. Gotta make a [MOVIES 2010s] soon. I tried the [ACTION] [DRAMA] etc folders, (and I included brackets [] so that these folders are always sorted at the top) but it was too much of a hassle to move my movies...
I read (and saved on my hd) an article back in 2000 or 2001 (when the first gigahertz computers were coming out) which claimed that we would have 10GHz in 10 years (this year, actually) or bust. They claimed they could use light (lithography or something?) to surpass the physical speed limits...
It's surprising how deadly pneumonia is. I remember having to take these pills everyday for a year because I had it. Brittany Murphy's death has been attributed to pneumonia as well: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35238213/ns/entertainment-celebrities/
