How can I boost the volume of media files?

i don't think that there's much you can do. i've had the same problems on my laptop, and so just bought some external speakers(i know this might not be an option for you). on a similar note, does anyone know what the hell is up with dvd and their sound? even with new speakers, i have to turn it...

Worst restaurant experience ever

Went to have Dim-Sum in San Diego. Wasn't too busy, but there were only a few carts going around, and there were around 10 of us. Sat and waited and waited and waited. Finally a cart came up and we took a couple of dishes. Waited, waited, etc... Flagged down one of the guys that comes by to add...

How do you train a cat to stop scratching your furniture?

this is so funny. i just finished building my cat a scratching post today. ends up that i think i built it a little too big... probably just the right size if i had a pet lion or something. anyway, my cat just looks at it and then continues to scratch the chairs. i tried putting her paws on it...

Security Update for IE6 users
