Could a notebook computer run Unreal Tournament 2003?

It runs pretty good on my Dell Inspiron 8200 1.6ghz w/GForce 4 Mobile 32mb. I run it at 1024x768 32bit. Some of the more complex levels run a little sluggish, though.

Any monitor gurus here? (19")

Anything with a Trinitron FD flat tube. Some are better than others, though. I personally wouldn't buy one that didn't do 85hz at 1600x1200. 85hz is the minimum refresh rate you should accept for any resolution. So if you want a 19" that does 1600x1200 at 85 (for games), you might have to...

Got one no problem. The manager was a little suspicious, so she double checked everything, but was nice about it. Got the pricematch for $79.99 - I didn't even bother to haggle over the extra 5.00 I could have gotten if they did the full 110%. Can't wait to put it in the new Dell 4550 2.4ghz...

My divx box has a shrunk picture on the TV...

Do you have an nVidia-based card? If so, the "border" around the edge is normal. nVidia cards suck for TVout. There is a program, however, called TVTool that supposedly lets you fix some of the problems you're having: TVTool I haven't used it, though. Supposedly ATI cards are much better...

Looking for a flat screen 19" CRT that supports 1600x1200 at AT LEAST 85 hz..

I just purchased a IBM P96 19" Sony Trinitron FD Flat Screen monitor direct from IBM off their ebayy store for $255 shipped. The picture quality is identical to the Sony G420--it's perfect. I think the Trinitron-based monitors are the best--very sharp text and superb color. The Diamondtrons...

This is a great TV. I bought one a few months ago for about $700. One great feature that this TV has is 16x9 enhanced mode. It compresses the scan lines so that you can watch anamorphic DVDs the way they were meant to be seen--with all 480 lines of resolution. Honestly, in 16x9 mode, DVDs...

HALF LIFE MOVIE?

The game "American McGee's Alice" is currently in pre-production as a movie. It is being directed by Wes Craven. I think this should be cool. I loved the atmosphere of Alice, and the story was good enough to make into a movie, since it's basically a dark twist on the original Alice in Wonderland.
