1T or higher mem speeds?

Sorry if this has been covered but here's my question. Would it be better to run my mem at 1T 183MHz or 2T 227MHz? I've heard 1T is almost required, but so far I haven't noticed a diff. CPU speed is still king in my book, thus staying at 2.5GHz - Thanks!

512x4 or 1GBx2?

I understand AMD 64's hate 2T, looks like I'm going with 1GBx2 - Does Geil make good ram? Newegg has 1GBx2 Geil Value with heat spreaders for $201.

On my mobo I currently habe 512x2 Samsung DDR400. I want to upgrade to 2GB. I'd rather buy two more sticks of 512 (same make if I can find it) and go on. Question is, at my current clock settings would two more 512 sticks effect my overclock any? If I need to I'll buy two 1 gig sticks, but I'd...

EPOX EP-9NPA+ Ultra VS. DFI nF4 Ultra-Infinity?

I love my 9NPA Ultra. I went with it for the same reason as Doug, the DFI (so I've also read) is real picky about ram/power, etc. I'm still using a 20 pin 350 watt Antec PSU so I didn't want a mobo that wouldn't like it. So far no power probs, and I've yet to see prime95 fail at my current...

Good ram?

Suppose I could wait a bit, FEAR is the only thing I see me needing more then 1 gig for any time soon. BF2 runs fine for me atm, and Wow has never looked better :D

Which memory is better for overclocking ?

2GB would be nice if your going to be playing FEAR. I had 1.5GB with my old barton system and fear ran w/o swap file activity. Now with only 1GB in the new system it writes to swap quite often. I hope they optimize the retail game so its not such a memory hog.

AMD 754 vs 939 Advice?

What chipset is the mobo using? Dunno if you want PCIe 16x support or not, but I believe nForce 4-4x chipset would be a good choice there. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Thinkin somthing like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813123255

Superguy; I'm not too worried about it. If I send it back I'd have to wait on the new one to get here before I could use my main PC again. 'Sides, I'll probably be upgradeing my video card in another six months or so anyway.

3GHz on air?

Soccerman; Funny you should say that... Back when I had my Slot A Athlon 500MHz in dead winter I opened my window, had a box fan blowing into my open case and clocked that sucker up to 950MHz. I ran it at 800MHz 24/7 with a flex pipe taped to my AC vent in my room running to the front of my case...

When you view my profile is shows my addy as "@gREMOVEmail.com" I didn't see gmail in the list of email providers in the FAQ. What gives?

Anyone wanna buy this Sapphire x800 256 DDR3 I just bought from Newegg a few days back for $200? Too bad this card wasn't available then, ohwell, all good :)

Maybe Futuremark's ORB page shows other cards as an X800 when its really somthing else, who knows... Guess I'm doin pretty good with my mem at 520 then, suppose I'm just lookin a gifthorse in the mouth :)
