Please help with integrated audio card!!!!

I have a integrated audio card with my motherboard. The audio card/motherboard is a crystal semiconductor and its the CS 4281. I upgraded from win98 to win2k and dl'ed the new drivers. However, I still cant get sound. Actually, I can get sound, but i cannot adjust the tone in the master volume...

fastz28: Well, China is really a communistic country anymore. With it's opening economic policies, it more of a capitalistic-quasi-communist government. So siding with China doesnt mean I'm against everything US stands for.

I recently read that Taiwanese businesses are increasing putting up wafer fabs in China and using more of China's cheap labor to produce our valued chips. Now since most of the techies usually put up the reason for the US to protect Taiwan is because of the chips, would you still protect it even...

its a clean install of hl... and the error log doesnt say anything noticeable

Well, ive installed half-life again on my comp and after its installed, it says that hl.exe has generated errors and a error log is being created. I am running w2k pro and need my cs binge fast... plz HELP!
