I installed a 960 evo 1tb ssd and it's been stuck on pcie gen 3 x 1 which makes my read speeds 878 and write 791 which is far below the potential speed of the drive.
Things I have done:
Update to latest motherboard bios A.D
Total reinstall of windows with only the evo drive installed in...
Ok another update after a few reboots i disabled the now generic high definition audio driver from Nvidia and the problem has gone away again. I had all Nvidia audio stuff disabled it before when I had everything installed and that didn't work. This is some really weird bug I guess?
Quick update on the 10 second hang upon logging into windows it appears to be related to the nvidia driver as i did a ddu clean uninstall and upon reboot it instantly logged in. But after doing a fresh install the problem came right back so I am going to try to install just the video driver...
I would go with the new roku myself. The nexus player has the worse app selection I have ever seen for any device in my life. It is complete garbage if you don't use it for casting or kodi.
I used hand sanitizer with q-tips for my cleaning off the thermal paste on my cpu and it worked like a charm. Just make sure it's got a really high alcohol % to it.
Anybody else get an update for visual studio 2010 kb3001652 that is taking forever to install been going on for 45min on an ssd 2600k system and has not moved the progressed bar at all? Doing the same on my laptop as well.
This card doesn't have fans that spin until 60ish degrees and the white led light means you have power. If you want to make sure it's stable in the system run valley or heaven benchmark.
