Actually there are 2 deals: freecolorprinterS.com and freecolorprinter.com. The former requires no monthly ink purchasing requirement while the latter does. I really don't mind the 840. There is no difference in print quality, just ppm. Also I agree that for printing photos this isn't the...
I've had the phaser 840 for 6 months and: use regular copy paper I purchased online, did not pay any taxes, can print Adobe in black and white, and have yet to use up my initial color ink (though I did buy the maintenance kit). I have had no problems with it. It is on a peer2peer network and...
or you could print blank pages. But you still have to buy maintenance kits every 40,000 pages which cost $100.00. Also whatever you are approved at you have to atleast print 80% of that number (so in your case 1600 pages per month).
My first month just ran up with the printer and I didn't receive any e-mails reminding me to send my monthly printing output. I didn't configure my printer for automatic e-mail so I was planning on faxing the page. Has anyone had any problems with this?
Sorry for the hosers Forbidden. I do want to ask anyone if they have had a problem with the deal. My first month just ran up and I did not receive the promised e-mail reminding me to submit my print quota. Is this a trick or is this just a screw up on their part?
On the site somewhere it should mention that black ink is free. However if it doesn't trust me i just received (today) an order of 50 boxes of black ink (with three sticks per box) all for $9.75. That should be enough ink for atleast 2 years but probably more (should be enough for over 172,000...
You can't afford about $8 dollars per month? If you print monochrome (and thus use free black ink) then your only cost is electricity and paper...very cheap and maybe you can outsource and become a sort of mini-print shop.
You have to print a certain number of pages per month depending on the number that you were accepted by. I have to print 3000 pages per month which sounds like a lot (and it is). However this is about 7 dollars worth of paper with free black ink. I think it's a good deal (especially if you...
Besides the color ink is only 80 dollars each (3 colors = 240) this lasts for well over 6000-7000 pages. To meet the quota you don't have to print color, just print monochrome and print color as you normally do. This is way cheaper than ink or laser.
The maintenance kits cost around 100 dollars and last for 40000 prints (40000/3000= 1 year of printing) I don't print color so I get the black ink for free. In fact I just received 50 packs of ink sticks (with three sticks each) for 9.75 shipped. Inkjet cartridges are 20 dollars each and the...
I received this printer about a month ago and it is so cool. It is so big and it is perfect for a network. I plugged it in and connected it to the hub and it configured itself for printing. It has an led screen so you know exactly what it is doing. It also comes with 64 megs of ram and an...
