How can test laptop battery?

Charge it fully and discharge it down to 15% run this test few times. For longevity do not let battery discharge past 15%.

Powerline networking or wireless? *UPDATE* what wireless router is best?

Weird solution will work much better compared to wireless. As wireless is half duplex. Just by any gigabit unmanaged switch and you are good to go.

thanks all esp the conclusive reply by @dave_the_nerd now i can get ati 4350 dirt cheap .. would it be of any advantage compared to the current one in my case ? also if its not ok then what about ati 5450 ?

problem is that i have a lot of files in above format . and playing it consums my cpu .. but my gpu is idling . now i am not sure if my particular card is meant to accelerate/decode the above file type itself or leave it to the cpu.. but looking at the stats from gpuz and amd gpu clock tool...

help convert this 720p 3gp to something that takes less resources at playback

no hand brake is not working . when it starts converting the file it says 10 minutes remaining even after the passage of half an hour it still says so .. and the taksbar icon which also shows progress bar is hardly 1% and cpu is at 100 %. i am new to these things.. can someone tell me...

yes i tried mphc gom player vlc same result on all .. should this type of files be decoded (for the lack of correct techincal term) by my gpu ? and not tax the cpu ? because in format it says mpeg-4 and ati site says its supported i am also using corecodec.. i mistankly posted it here...
