I overheated my comp.... HELP!!! PLZ(It's not even o/c'ed)

i skipped some of the longer posts n read bits n pieces fro mwaht i gather, iether you need to add case fans or they are being blocked by dust just for kicks, take off the side of the case and leave it....

CPU limiting overclock rather than memory? This makes no sense!

thats what im making sure of. If he's goin for 2400mhz, he's definitely not gonna make it. If he's goin for 2400+ rating, then he has a chance but evidently its not stable.

you overclocked it, duh! is that 2400mhz, or the rating of 2400+? go to default and see if you have the problems....

1.8a Northwood fsb locked? overclock help FOUND

possibly it detects that it cant post at 133cpu freq, so it just automatically reverts back to 100 try going to like 102 or 105 and see if that works?
