Help me pick a new credit card

Yep, you're very right. My actual spending on gas/groceries/restaurants was about $2.5K (the bulk of my spending was hotels and airfare for work). I would have still made a little more if I had two cards, but it's easier for me to keep track of one card.

Help me pick a new credit card

I have an Amex Blue, put about $30K on it last year and am getting $540 or so back. The other perks are pretty nice (extended warranties, some coverage on rental cars, return protection when dealing with crappy merchants, etc). They've also had good customer service when I've dealt with them.

Math problem challenge

Depends on if it's any face or a particular face. For any face: You can pick any first corner, so the probability starts with 1. Now you have 1 corner attached to 3 faces, so you can pick any corner attached to those three faces (6/7 probability). Picking the second corner you've narrowed it...

All good points listed above. Just to clarify, almost any mixer you buy will have mic preamps built it. They may not be the best, but they will get you by until you can tell the difference. The USB interfaces listed above will probably have better preamps than most cheap mixers you buy...

Delta 44 or 66?

As you noted, the 44 and 66 are the same with the exception of S/PDIF I/O. The digital I/O is useful if you have an external A/D or D/A converter, or if you want to record from a digital source- which apparently you do not, and that's fine. The 44 will work well for all your needs including...

True, a home stereo will have more of a flat response than a guitar amp, but not too much... most of the shaping of a guitar's tone comes from the speaker (HF and LF rolloff). If you plug your guitar amp into a home speaker (which isn't a great idea, but if you did), you would get pretty decent...

Hi all, I'm building my first system, and when I try to load XP, it won't recognize the SATA drive. I looked around here and saw that you have to put the SATA drivers on a floppy to allow XP to recognize the SATA drive- problem is, I didn't plan on putting a floppy drive in this machine...
