G.Skill DDR2-1000 MHZ

I just bought this ram, usin a abit P35 Pro, c2d6750, can't get it to post at ddr-1000 5-5-5-15 2.1v, any ideas?

I'm using it on my 6750 at 3.2 stock volt, I idle at about 29C, its a great cooler for the price.

memtest question

Ip35Pro 2x1 Crucial ddr-800, was trying 44412 with the cpu at 400 mhz x, so 1.1

memtest question

I recently had some windows crashes/fail to posts on my new build so I ran memtest, it failed miserably. I changed the voltage and it passed for about an hour. Does this mean the ram is bad or dieing, or is voltage a factor?

Hardrive I/O device Error

I managed to access the files, just kept switchin around the IDE cables, time to move em to my new SATA and throw this piece of junk away :P thanks guys

I have a newer board, so only 1 IDE controller, tried 2 different cables no luck, what about some form of data recovery software or anything like that?

I have a old 40G IDE with a bunch of music on it, some of the folders/files on it are accessible when i hook it up but not the one that I'm trying to move to a new HD, I get the device error. It was working about 2 weeks ago, am I basically screwed or is there anyway to get that data off?

Well as I said, mine are rated at 2.2V 44412, least thats what it says on newegg, so I don't see why not to run them as that, as long as the overclock is stable, not sure what your situation is though.

They're at 2.2v now, pretty sure thats what there rated for, got a stable boot at 450mhz, 10 minutes of orthos only hitting 49C, I expected much worse temps with my setup :P

Okay I'm running at 44412 now, it took 2.3v to get it stable it windows, is that too high, using ballistix, my idle temps at 3.2 according to coretemp are Core0 26C Core1 30C. I'm only using a freezer pro, would it be realistic to shoot for higher than 3.2 or no?

LCD and your eyes

Yes I have turned the brightness down on the monitor, and in windows, I get no issues there. If load up WoW however, if the brightness isn't high enough the colors look awful.

yea I have the same problem, went from a 17" CRT usually 85HZ + to a 22" LCD at 60HZ, even with brightness turned down, in games the 60HZ definatly bothers my eyes.

Yea you'll need to brind up the service menu, do this by setting brightness and contrast to 0 on the monitor, then hold the source button for about 5 seconds, it'll pop up and there should be some model/code numbers on there that can be used to tell. Open the service menu and look at the...
