Yeah, if SteamOS gets a netflix/hulu/amazon video streaming app this should make for a very nice HTPC OS. It shouldn't be difficult to get XBMC running on it, and with the in home streaming of steam titles from another machine, you could have something as small as a Roku that allows you to play...

Couple of days late, but happy 20th birthday Doom

My first computer was a Power Mac 6100 running Mac OS9 with a 60mhz PowerPC and 16MB of RAM. I could only play Doom in low res, and I only had the shareware version, but my god did I play the shit out of it. Upgrading a couple years later to Windows 98 and a 400mhz Celeron blew me away.

Are any Celeron 1037U Motherboards actually available?

Those are some nice options. I too would be interested in the power draw numbers. I'd also love to see one of these 1037U boards come with both an mSATA/mPCIE slot and a CIR header. It'd be a perfect HTPC board for my uses.
