Hi all,
I just bought a Dell Inspiron 9400 (I believe the E1700 is the equivalent in the USA) to replace my old Toshiba M15-S405.
What I loved about my old laptop was the app for controlling the power profiles and limit CPU when running on battery. That would enable me to tweak my 3 year...
I just received this PC from a friend since he's having some problems and I'm trying to fix it. So far, I haven't been able to find the problem, but I can share the following information. Maybe someone has had the same experience and can point me in the right way.

Hello! I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this small question...
What did the sign on top of the Oracle's door (from Matrix) read? I can't remember, and I know it was latin. If anyone can help me remember what was it, I'll be glad to know (I would check it myself, but my Matrix...
When u say "no luck", do u mean that the CD wouldn't even boot or that it won't let you repair the file?
If its the 2nd, then it may be a HD problem.
Is there no way to load it in safe mode?
And maybe that's a good reason for upgrading it and getting other features your old one didn't have ;) (cuz I suppose it's an old one since it isn't in your warranty period anymore)
