Geforce 5650, is it really that bad?

I have seen the comparison but they only show results with AA and AF, I don't really care much for those settings. I've seen other reviews without AA and AF where the Geforce wins by 5% to 10%. I know there is a big performance gap with DirectX 9 games. The question is if these games are...

Geforce 5650, is it really that bad?

I'm looking to buy a laptop and have narrowed it down to two, the Dell D800 and 8600c. The only real difference is the graphics card, I know the Radeon 9600 is better but the 8600c is $300 more. (I'm in Africa and my choice is rather limited) So my question, is the Geforce 5650 really as crap...

Upgrading notebook memory

I want to buy a Dell Inspiron 8600c. As far as I know it uses DDR 333 soDimm's. Can I upgrade the memory with any DDR 333 memory? As I'm in South Africa my options for memory types are rather limited but I know I can get Kingmax. Would that work properly, I know some notebooks use...

Power line error reported

I thought it might be the PSU, it's already my second. I just found it very strange that the screen went all funny. I've replaced my PSU with a Antec 350, cost a bit more but hope this one lasts a bit longer. Thanks

The monitor is only about 2 years old. I forgot to mention, the higher resolutions worked fine before installing the latest driver. But then again I couldn't play Quake etc. At first I thought it's trying to protect the monitor by letting the desktop resolution increase but not the screen...

The problem is that you are not the same user that created that specific My Documents folder and have security set that only the user on the old machine can access that folder. I had the same problem and it took my ages to figure out but you can sort it out. The solution depends on your...
