Now, would this happen to work on a bicycle? I got a D.U.I. about 2 months ago and would like to go back in time and stop myself from driving drunk on the way home from Marty's house.

I can buy 2 HD3870's for 300 bucks total to go along with a dual core Opty running @ 3 Ghz. Btw, is it true that 2 3870's will give me the same performance as 1 8800GTX???
Would a dual core Opteron running @ 3 Ghz bottleneck 1 or even 2 HD3870 GPU's? It'd be great if I could hold onto my socket 939 motherboard and 2 gigs of DDR ram for another year. Anyone?
I'm planning on waiting until Far Cry 2 comes out before I upgrade. I'm hoping I can buy an 8800GTX for 200-250 by that time and maybe the 45nm Intel Quads for some good OC'n fun. I can find Q6600's for 200 bucks right now so who knows how much they'll be by March/April of 08.
I'm thinking about upgrading my rig around the time that Far Cry 2 is released. I already own a SLI-Ready PSU (630 watts max), a tower, hard drives, burners but will need a new motherboard, new CPU and a new GPU. I already have 2 gigs of DDR 2 laying around so I'm not worried about the ram...
The trade would be through a friend. Btw, would my single core opty hold back that GTS? I'll mostly be running games @ a resolution of 1024x768 since I own a 17" CRT. Would my SS get the job done better than a 7950 512MB since it's currently running @ 700/1800? Thanks.
I have a single core Opty running @ 2.85Ghz. I also own an EVGA 7900GT 256MB Signature Series videocard. I have the option of paying 150 dollars and trading in my 7900GT SS for an EVGA 8800GTS 320MB Superclocked videocard OR trading in my 7900GT SS for a EVGA 7950 512MB which runs as fast as my...
I decided to stick with my PS3 and ride out my 7900GT SS until next summer. I'll save up for a Quad Core CPU and Dual DX 10.1 cards and upgrade by next summer. Seems like the smarter thing to do especially with Vista x64 not really running games any better than XP. Thanks for all of your help.
