If you don't remember having the debt, how can you be sure the debt is actually yours or that the balance is correct? Request validation from the collection agency before you do anything else. If you do end up paying them, try and negotiate a pay-for-delete, so they delete the entry from...

Is there a free or cheap isp that doesn't require you to use their software?

Access4free is free as long as you use less than 10 hours per month, then they charge you $1 per additional hour up to $10 max. You must provide a credit card number for them to bill to. I've used them sporadically over the last two years as a back-up ISP when travelling, and have been satisfied.

Question about paycheck and taxes...

You probably should be making quarterly estimated tax payments. From the instructions for form 1040-ES: See Form 1040ES and Pub 505 CA probably has a similar quarterly payment system. This page has more IRS info on self-employment and taxes.

Actually, no, it's not. Strattera doesn't even work for many people with ADD. Often, people with ADD, depression, and other conditions treated with "mind drugs" struggle to find the medication and dosage that works with their particular biochemistry.

Pour small amounts a time into a flat pan, put it somewhere that animals can't get to it, and let it evaporate. Repeat as necessary. Or you could call 1-800-RECYCLE to get disposal sites and instructions.
