I would agree with you guys too, but in my case, the higher FSB is more stable than the lower FSB :confused: Fun stuff. My last link too is with 1.49v vs 1.40 so upping it .09v didnt affect it failing within 1 minute.

You guys got any sandra memory bandwidth benchmarks? Because in looking at HardOCP's review, my comparison looks really odd. I'm using sandra 2007 just like they state but my ram is running at 650 or 325x2, yet according to what im showing im beating their scores somehow.

Were looking at a prime problem or a board problem. Atleast in my case. Also, my pc is still freezing with memory settings above 700. The 850 setting did not work :confused:

Yeah all 3 pictures there have the same vcore as you can see in the asus probe part. Those of course may fluctuate a little. One last screenshot, to show its definitely not the memory causing 8 multi to fail.

Core2, both of those screenshots are with bios memory speed set to 850. The nforce board took the divider and set it to 1:1 not me. Notice the 7 multi screenshot the ram is at 425? Which times 2 is 850. And I set the memory to 5-5-5-15-2T myself, everything else is set to auto.

Core2, I appreciate the time you've put into this thread. But if you notice ive never run my memory at 470. Thats the CPU speed, 470 quad pumped = 1880. My ram is set to either 700 or 800 in the bios. That means its running 350x2 or 400x2.

Ok, In all scenarios my vdimm is set to 2.08. The only thing I havent tried is bumping it higher. My ram is rated to run 1.9-2.0 at 800. Mem settings are unlinked and set to auto. Also tried 4-4-4-12-2T and 5-5-5-12-2T in the tests as well.

I might be confusing this a little bit. If I run an 8 multiplier and 1600 FSB with memory at 800, it will boot into windows and freeze after 15 minutes. If I run at 8 , 1600, and 700 it will fail prime. If I run at 7 , 1880 FSB and 700 mem it runs prime 24/7. If I up the ram to 800 it will...
Yeah its set to unlinked. I'll try 8x400 at 1.4 nb one more time and see what happens. I was under the impression it wouldnt post or froze up. Still, I find it very odd it will run 7x470 completely fine and 8x400 not.

I'm running into some odd problems with this board. I have an e6400.
I have to set the NB to 1.55v to get up around 1600 FSB. The strange thing is....
If I boot at 8x400 the cpu will fail prime95 within 1 minute.
If I boot at 7x470 = 3290mhz it will run prime95 24/7
