Gigabyte GA-965G overclocking with video disabled

Received a GA-965G-DS3 as a gift. Requested a 965P, but got the 965G instead. Exchanging this would be difficult as it was purchased out of town by a relative. Research seems to indicate that the GA965G does not oc as well as the GA965P. If the video is disabled, does this turn the 965G...

Thanks for the replies. I guess I'll go with 3.0e Prescott. Bleh, I'll take a look at getting a video card as well. Will a Nvidia MX400 do (I've got one lying around here somewhere).

I'm looking to building a rig for some video editing, video encoding and decoding. Need to convert some anolog and digital camcorder tapes to dvd or divx. Have a 3.0e prescott and a 2.6c northwood available. Don't plan to do and oc'ing at present as they are on very stable intel mobo's, but...

Problem with AGP slot

Trying to install an older agp video card in my P4 mobo. Unfortunately, the notch in the agp card doesn't line up with the notch on the mobo; it's about 1/2 inch away. Is there a reason for this notch or can I just remove it from the mobo so the agp card fits in.

Any utility that will create an mirror image on display?

I picked up a monitor that I want to use for a dual display. The monitor apparently came out of an arcade machine and displays a mirror image of a normal screen. I haven't been able to locate any controls on the monitor that fixes this, so figured that there may be a utility that will display...

Did I just screw up my mobo by trying to flash the bios

Gazza, Thanks for the reply. The progress bar wasn't advancing at all so I cancelled it and rebooted it. Yup, old bios was still there, but at least mobo is okay.

I think I figured out what's wrong. The ide1 isn't working. When I switched the hd to ide2, everything was fine. I guess I will have to rma the mobo.
