need help with 56k modem?..

Blah, this is really gay, and i dont get it hehe. My modem has been doing fine for a few weeks now ever since my freind gave it to me, it's been connecting at regular speeds and everythign been doin just fine. But just yesterday whenever i try and d/l a song or a web page or anything, it goes...

No it won't. ;) I doubt DDR will go much over 150..x2=300.

Do IBM GXP's overclock well?

IBM drives are known to handle overclocked PCI busses well. Maxtors on the other hand ....

Trouble Installing OEM duron heatsink/fan

hehe, that's weird, i never had to use any kinds of tools with mine heh, i just used my hands and pressed down, didn't do anything to the processor and didn't have any airpockets either...heh, oh well :)

cpu temperature ?

Well, i have a Tbird 700, my computer has the cpu temp check right in bios, you go into it and go to cpu performance or somethign like that, i dont remember now, but it should be in your bios...good luck :)

hmm, i just got a T-bird 700Mhz not too long ago, and mines overclockable, what week is yours? And yeah, im pretty sure yours is an 800, since it does say Amd0800AMT3b and mine says AMD0700AMT3b heh

hmm hehe, i just got a new Athlon t-bird 700Mhz, on an epox board, and i kinda had close to the same trouble, but, what side of the heatsink latch are you putting on first?...

Building new computer, Questions

hmmmm i had the same problem with my epox board with my new t-bird inside, i couldn't get a crappy modem to fit into the isa slot at the bottom, away from the ports....so what i did, is i unscrewed the motherboard, not all the way, loosened it, and after that it fit in fine, pushed a little bit...

I want a relatively fast hard drive and I don't need too much room...

Heh, yeah i have to agree...I'd have to go with an IBM drive, but if your going to get one, get the IBM 75gxp 15.2 gig, i was going to get one of those, but turned out no money. They're supposedly really fast, one of the fastest, and not too spendy, probably now for about $100

My new Duron 700 is running 1 GHz!!!! :):)

Hell yeah dude....that's awesome....i wanna like get my Athlon T-bird running at that speed..man, that'd be a dream...anyway congrats btw :)...sigh, can't wait to get more money for my computer
