Need advice on New Branch location

Ok that sounds good, I will probably just run the one DC and put the older service as a standard domain member file server for some of our server based applications. Now I still can't figure out my ADPREP issue, when I run ADPREP on the existing controller it says it has already been run...

I already have server licenses for both DC's The new server has the correct DNS information I assume, and when I go to add it as an additional controller, it seems the correct domain in the correct forum, but it fails once it starts pulling data from the current domain. It fails a couple...

Advice on Adding ram to my new laptop?

Unless I'm mistaken, I won't be able to run 1.5gb in a dual channel lappy, will I? Also, I don't run many tasking programs per say, but I never close windows, I like leaving everything up. Plus I'm looking forward to vista. Have RC2 running on my main pc.

I just got a great deal on a Toshiba Core Duo laptop. It needs more ram, it currently has 512mb DDR2 533 ram(1 stick), I may want to go with 2gb ram in the future(next year), do you think it would be benificial to go ahead and get a 1gb 667 stick now, and forego dual channel until I get a second...

Portable Refridgerator cooling PC?

Well I would modify it so that the cooling element is outside the case, keeping the peltier(if present) out side the case, with only the cool air being ducted in. I can't believe no one has tried this before, I just might try it.

Portable Refridgerator cooling PC?

I was thinking, those 20 dollar eBay portable electric coolers, they are almost silent, has anyone thought of modding one to take the cooling element to blow cold air into your computers case, I was thinking about trying it, I can't seem to find anyone else who has tried it, what do you guys think?

Win XP install CD won't boot up

Goto your hard drive manufacturers website and download a bootable wipe tool, do a full format, write whole drive to zero, then use your XP cd, should do the trick
