Laptop thermal compound replacement - Success!

Yup, did this to my Dell Studio 14z using AS5. It ran so hot just sitting idle I knew I had to take a chance and fix it myself. Disassembled everything, slapped on thermal paste on both the CPU and GPU and its cooler than ever before.

Wow, mine came well packaged. Plastic clamshell plus suspended mid air by foam supports and it didn't move at all. Sorry to here about others issues. HDD works flawlessly. I upgraded from a 250 gb PATA HDD to this (first Sata HDD for me) and it is significantly faster

Laptop Broke. Any recommendations on where to get it fixed?

its only about 2 years old..... Pentium m 1.5ghz 40gb HD 128mb Video Card 15.4" Widescreen 1gb PC2700 Ram Pretty much your standard laptop. Really liked it since had a huge battery that lasted for about 3-4 hours and was decently fast........

Laptop Broke. Any recommendations on where to get it fixed?

Well For some reason, my laptop has decided to stop working. Turned it on like every other day, but no post and nothing comes on the screen. Wont boot or anything. HDD is still good but cant figure this out. VGA out displays nothing. Desktops are easy for me but when it comes to laptops...
