WD Elements Portable on all the time?

I just picked up a Western Digital Elements Portable 250GB external usb hard drive, mainly because it was affordable. Is it ok to leave this hooked up to my computer all the time?

how to match up watts?

The receiver is the Sony 2-Channel Home Theatre Receiver (STRDH100) and the Onkyo D-N5TX Speakers have a 5 ohm nominal impedance.

how to match up watts?

My trusty (till now) Onkyo CS-210 mini-system finally gave up the ghost. The receiver/cd player is toast but the speakers are still good so I'd like to keep them. They are rated at 70watts but the Sony stereo receiver I want is rated at 100watts. Will these speakers work with the Sony receiver?

I'm a bit out of the loop game wise (haven't bought a game in over a year). I did like Return to Castle Wolfenstein and when I saw that a sequel was out I got interested. Anyway here's my system... Intel Core i7 920 at stock Radeon 4870 Will my system play it at 1920x1200 at 4xAA 8XAF...

p6t deluxe and ahci

Thanks Tom, you were right. When I loaded Vista x64 I had it set for IDE in the Bios. I checked on Microsofts site and found instructions on how to load the AHCI drivers and now things seem to be working.

p6t deluxe and ahci

I just flashed the bios on my p6t-deluxe to ver. 1102. Now when I enable ahci for my sata drive the system crashes every time just after the windows load bar appears in Vista x64. If I select "IDE Drive" in the bios instead the computer boots and seems to work fine but I'd prefer AHCI. Also...

What brand of ATI HD4870 should I get?

I've had the 1gb Diamond 4870 for about a month and a half with no problems. I don't overclock though. I do get a TDR crash every couple of weeks but from what I've read that is software related.

Asus P6T Deluxe Question?

Same here, I left the cover in place. No system instability so far but my pc doesn't have alot of components sucking power.

Core i7 Socket

When you close the retention flap and push down and fasten the lever do the pins get raised up towards the cpu or is it just downward force?

any downsides to Vista 64 bit?

Ok thanks Mem. Also, as long as all my hardware has the proper 64 bit drivers (vid card, sound. etc.) most current games will play fine on Vista x64 won't they?

Epson 1640SU + Vista 64 Bit

I have an Epson 1640SU Scanner and I am building a new Vista system. I ordered Vista 32 bit, but now that I have it and my 6gb of memory in my hands I read in the P6T motherboard manual that I need Vista 64 bit to address all of the 6gb. So I was wondering if anyone here knows if my scanner...

Seasonic M12 600W EPS12V and i7?

I'm pricing out a new build and ncix.com has a decent deal on this power supply. Would it be enough to power a core i7 920 and a single Geforce 260 216 on an Asus p6t motherboard?
