Just curious, but I was trying to reset my password on heatware. I followed the email I got back saying to contact support. When I go to the link to contact support they sent me here to PM a admin on this forum (who hasn't responded at all, it's been a few days).
Anyone know what is going on...
It depends on what video settings you are using on WoW that make DSR worthy or not.
I use 4 Titans hooked up to a UHD monitor, and then at times I hook them up to one of my two projectors. I enable DSR when I use the projectors and the game roughly performs like if I had the UHD monitor...
If you REALLY can't wait (and you really want to wait on Skylake), I would get something used from a z87 chipset and haswell if you can. Otherwise, if you buy now and aren't waiting then go x99 and be done with it.
Is there a certain feature set you are looking forward to with Skylake?
I'm on...
Well at least they are fixing some of the multi-GPU issues. Thanks for sharing!!
I did get the occasional freezing so I'm glad to hear that they are working on that too.
I'm trying to get started in Destiny and trying to find a good primer on how the game's systems work and so forth. Any suggestions or recommendations on where a great place (or write up) would be for this?
I would say that at 3840x2160 has been playable on my system but there are a lot of times it drops down. Not sure if that is because it isn't doing well on my 4-way SLI system, or this CPU utilization as most of you are referring to. I haven't been able to bring up my in-game GPU monitoring with...
I would stick with the GTX 970 and a Corsair PSU. The 750 will do you well. I personally would go with something a bit higher if I ever decided to do some SLI down the road (also have to make sure the motherboard will support that, which I haven't looked to see). That CPU /mobo has plenty of...
I'm really curious what it will take to run this game at 3840x2160. Even with 4 Titans I doubt it will be playing at Ultra, but I'll take High for this title. Will be curious to try this out, but I should probably go play the first two games in the series first.
I'm enjoying the co-op aspect of this game. I was going to give up on it, but tooling around with friends in this game adds more "fun factor" in.
I will admit that in order for your character to not die as much you will need to level up quite a bit. My friend is telling me that the game hits its...
This power supply looks massive and may be up my alley for my "staying in one place in the basement" water cooled beast. The main problem I worry about with this thing is being a single rail design. Man if that rail goes.....
x79 is old tech. If you were finding a great deal on it (or a used purchase) then it would be worth looking at. If you can hold out to Q2 you have broadwell CPUs showing up which would be a great option.
I love my 900D (of course, it is huge), but I do miss the silent nature of the P180 I had years ago. It is hard to balance those two qualities, but I managed to do both with watercooling in the 900D.
I'm partial to the Corsair cases myself. I would stick with their equivalent mid-tower.
