can someone tell me the meaning of some terms such as: SOFTCORE, CLOSED REALM, Ladder vs Non Ladder...etc? also what server does most people play in now? US EAST? thanks a bunch

After 5 years leaving D2, my friend invite me to play it again. So I try to login at battle.net on my friend's computer. I can get in fine, although everything inside were deleted. now my question is, I don't have the CDs and the Keys for both anymore, how do I able to play it again without...

Underclocking a video card?

I knew all the answers for your situation.. I have evga 8800GTX, idle 80C, don't like it, spend $50 on hr03+, installed, very happy idle 45c load 55c. as of RMA concern, i pick EVGA because they let you use your old cooler and allow overclocking if I remember it right. so when i need to RMA...

Guys, someone told me to check CPU-Z at mainboard tab to see the pci-e speed, the Link Width said 1x, isn't that support to be 16x? take a look at the picture link below and tell me how to fix it please. This might be the problem

8800GTX getting 4435 3dmark06 !

I tried went back to 162.22 which works great for everything, but still no luck... the only possible cause remaining is lack of power from PSU? I don't use XP, i had vista 32bit. how do i go restore, do i lose everything i downloaded and installed during that period? or just the setting rollback?

do you mean the card is half dead? or i can somehow re-enable the other half back to normal speed? is it possible that microsoft hotfix messed things up? on my first post i link that hotfix, anyone tried it and had problems? if so how do i uninstall the hotfix?

I found out my antec PSU is 480w. so it's giving enough juice so far, but pretty close. which driver cleaner you guys suggest to use. I don't want to spend $$ on that driver cleaner software. other thoughts?

I am having serious trouble with my 8800GTX. I was playing bioshock fine when it was released. suddenly after installed the nvidia beta driver that supports bioshock, the game became super lagged, and 3dmark06 dropped from 10xxx to 4435. take a look at my score things i tried: installed...

So I was bored and decided to (finally) overclock my E6600

Are you serious? 1.35 MAX ? Do you mean 1.35v max for hitting your oc speed? such as 3.0ghz? you should take a look around, most e6600 user who overclocks went to 1.45v to achieve higher speed. EX: 3.6ghz at 1.45v is the perfectly safe voltage for 24/7. I agree if the OP only want to OC...

Looking at getting into Guild Wars

just watch out for hardware issues... i got prophencies on Vista + 8800gtx + x-fi... the result is terrible, sound cut off and i see my characters' movement have a 2 second lag, even with fast cable and play midnight when bandwidth traffic is good... not sure it's vista problem or other hardware...
