AMD Athlon 2400+ Overheating!

This is a stab in the dark, but perhaps your motherboard temp monitor is not accurate. You could try using a third party program like Speedfan or MBM(motherboard monitor) and see what those say. If they are reading about the same then yeah, you got a problem cause that seems too high to me....

Gaming performance: Celeron D vs P4 @ same speed?

You'd be surprised man. Hop over to the For Sale/Trade forum and look around, maybe make a WTB thread and have some people throw some offers your way. Got some really good deals floating around, might find something that suits your fancy.

Overclocked my xp2100+

I'm running an ABIT KD7 RAID motherboard. Well when I tried 166fsb with other settings it wouldn't post. First it wouldn't even go to 160 FSB but I got it to do that. Then I just kept upping the multiplier. When I tried running World of Warcraft it would crash on me. Said something about the...

Overclocked my xp2100+

I started messing around with the settings in the bios tonight. The stock setting was FSB- 133 Multi.- x13 and voltage- 1.60v Here's what I have now using PC2700 set at 166mhz and a Volcano 10+ on the processor- CPU FSB- 160mhz Multiplier- x14 voltage- 1.625v Which makes my processor...

How do I correct this?

The 8gb part is actually a partition to one drive though, the 80gb drive. It's, or was, 2 partitions. One being 66gb and the other being 8gb. I'm going back through and trying a reformat and reinstall. I went into fdisk and tried deleting the partitions out so I could make one big partition. It...

How do I correct this?

Ok I put the XP CD in and started the installation. It came up showing 2 partitions. C and E. It let me delete the partition E(66gb Windows XP), but i wouldn't let me delete C because it said it contained necessary setup files. I didn't know what else to do so I selected E for it to start...

*Close*WD 80gb shows as 8gb wtf???

I had a WD 80gb go dead on me, so I RMA'd it. Yesterday I went out and bought a new Western Digital 80gb drive, installed it, and then installed Windows XP Pro. I'm thinking everything is fine when I've got it all installed, then I look at drive C and it is showing 7.52gb of free space. wtf...

That sucks, looked like a promising game. Oh well.... Edit- My brother keeps trying to get me back into playing Planetside with him. He is so stuck on that game. I just don't see it... I guess I am more of an RPG type of person, ya know?

Well it just depends on what kinds of games you are into. One guy was telling me he played Doom 2 and so that's why he bought Doom 3. But he also plays WoW, so after about a day of Doom 3, he threw it down and uninstalled it. Dunno...

Haha, ok. Good. Well that pretty much does it for me as far as Lineage II is concerned. I've heard enough crap on the game to know not to buy it. Looks like I'll be playing WoW this weekend instead. Now to sell my FFXI account.... Also, I know in FFXI you got a Mog House, in Everquest II I think...
