I bought a no-name USB 2.0/Firewire combo external enclosure from computer geeks for my A04 DVD-Writer. Anyway, the CD write functions work but it crashes everytime I try to make a dvd citing it was unable to initialize IDE/SCSI interface or something like that, using both USB 2.0 and Firewire...

Notagain, try turning off your speakers. Then turn the volume knob back and forth fast for 20 seconds. Then turn it back on and see if that fixes it. I don't know if yours is the same problem as mine. Oh and with the old preamp I had, I bought it, got a new one warranty returned, then it...

Honestly, I think the Z560s sound better, Also, when I had the old preamp it got dust in it and the speakers cracked and popped. so unless it has the new volume control with the headphone jack on the side, in 4 months your speakers are going to start to crackle when you change the volume and...

Oh, and ATA 100 and ATA 133, it doesn't matter, Maxtor is the only company making ATA133 drives. The difference is basically the burst transfer rate (?). They will run about the same speed on larger files.

Haven't had any problems with Maxtor Rebates, and it is staples and they have the best rebates. If it isn't TCA it is probably ok

well, one things for sure, he had like 300 posts a month then around September time he dissappeared. Just because he wasn't on a plane doesn't mean that he didn't pass away in some form or another. Similarly, he might have just decided to give it up, maybe he had an addiction and had to quit...
