Thanks for the warning, but since speedfan seems to match systools, maybe it works well with my rig. The big thing is the "Core" temp verus the "Temp2" or "CPU Temp." Shouldn't the Core temp off the AMD sensor be HIGHER than the CPU temp off the mobo? CoreTemp and Speedfan both show about 34 at...
Ok, I am going to overclock the system in my sig, MSI Neo2 with a Winnie 3000+. I am using Systool and Speedfan to monitor temps. According to BIOS, Systool, and Speedfan "Temp2" the CPU hovers around 36 degrees and mid 40s during gaming. But, Speedfan also has a "Core" temp that is says reads...
I found a thread on a custom driver build, Nforce Unified Remix 11.15. The comments seem up-to-date and positive, i think i'll try this.

I've heard there can be some issues though. XP might be more stable, especially with the 6800 (but I have to read more about these possible issues) Is there a real advantage to the Nvidia drivers over XP? Or is it just that Nvidia offers the choice?
OK, I have a custom built computer with an MSI Neo2 mobo with a Nforce3 chipset. I will be doing a clean install in the next few days. The last time I did an install, I can't remember if I installed chipset drivers or just let XP handle it. Are they needed for gaming performance? Searching for...
I'm going to an Elite 8 game with some pretty rabid basketball fans. I know the basics but would at least want to know what they are talking about as far as strategy, fouls, and so on. Any websites that go over this stuff?
I want to install Ubuntu on an old PC. Last time I booted it, IIRC, there were symtoms of a bad HD. Any good freeware diagnostic software? What about repair software that could permentaly segment off the bad parts and install ubuntu clean?
Thanks

Thanks MixMasterTang, i think that is the best I'm going to get. I;m still trying to get some people together. The only issue now would be how many of those seats do they have and how much longer willl thet be available
Thanks. My dates would be the 9th (Friday) through the 18th (Sunday) although i would like to not miss more than two days of classes (So thursday the 8th through monday the 19th isn't really an option.) I checked COntinental and the prices for those dates are higher, obviously because of spring...
Thanks a bunch guys. I looked into student packages, and even if I could get the right dates the price really isn't a discount compared to shopping around for flights.
Okay, i've used the standard flight search websites and aggregators and the cheapest roundtrip is around $630, i would love to get it for around $500 if possible. A few questions. Are there any deals out of major east coast airports like atlanta or nyc? Maybe I could get a cheap southwest flight...
