I jumped on the Newegg deal as the Fatal1ty seems to have the front audio connector, you can see it in the picture of the card. I too have the Audigy 2 ZS so, hopefully, I will be able to still use my front break out box.

GeForce 8800GT Best Prices / In-Stock Listing

Well, I installed the card. Replaced my older evga 7900 GTO, that one gave me a 3DMark Score (3dmark06) of 5688 3DMarks. The new BFG 8800 gave me a score of 10634 3DMarks. Well, that is a nice improvement. Now I'm set for COD4, Crysis, and the other new games that are coming out.

8800gt price cut confirmed?

I do not think they will be reduced just before the holidays. Considering how fast these sold out in so many places, my bet would be that they will stay in the same price range for a couple of months, of course there is always that sale price/coupon find.

DEAD:Seagate 500gb SATA/PATA Retail Hard Drive

Got two, went to Circuit City and did the price match. Got both for $102 (or so) with tax. Great price. I forgot to check the firmware when installing the one but I'll check tonight. The other is still sealed but planning on putting it inside my daughter's pc. thanks ActiveX!
