The Concord, CA Frys has some Fluke digital multimeters on clearance. I don't know if these prices are available at other Frys locations, so this may be a regional or YMMV deal. Appears to be in store only.
Fluke 110 True RMS Multimeter, $49.90

To anyone attending the Irvine show:
Please let us know if they give any updates on the server bundle. Are they still trying to get more server bundles in stock? If so, can we order one later if they're not in stock at time of our local show?
Still deciding on attending the Sunyvale show...
I've been told by CSR that you need the printed out staples coupon (emailed to you and printed out) in order to use it in a B&M Staples store. The CSR also said they don't offer order online with in-store pickup.
Anyone know if the above is true or have a different experience?
Up until recently, US customers could only get this monitor with a new dell computer.
Finally its available standalone and at a hot price! I'm in. Just ordered. Now the wait begins :D
Cr@p. Nevermind about the A04 BIOS upgrade. A Dell rep just posted this in the Dell forums :(
<quote>
Unfortunately, the notes on the download page for the PowerEdge 1600 SC A04 are misleading. A04 does not add 533MHz FSB support for all PowerEdge 1600 SC's. There was motherboard revision...
Dell just released the new A04 BIOS for the 1600sc that supports 533 FSB !!! From the info text on the new BIOS
"PowerEdge 1600SC, BIOS, version A04 provides support for /533MHz processors. PowerEdge 1600SC, BIOS, version A04 contains all content from prior revisions, and is backward...
Bought one at the Concord, CA Circuit City. They had 4 boxes (now 3 :) of Ti 4200 cards with no stickers on the front. Took it to the register, showed them this week's CompUSSR add (79.99 after rebate). They said they couldn't match the rebate, but after 110% pricematch they could do 81.99...
Well my 1600sc finally arrived today. Dell really did ship it via FedEx 2 day even though I ordered it with the free 3-5 day shipping. Guess they are trying to make up for all the weather related delays.
After all the instant rebates, coupon codes, etc. I spent some of the money I saved on...
Mine finally shipped. Got a tracking number today. :D
Looks like the bad weather log jam is finally breaking up...
<edit>Looks like Dell sent it via FedEx 2 day service even though I chose the free 3-5 day when I placed the order.</edit>
Noticed that a 1GB module from Dell is ~$300 vs $400 from crucial. I'll probably go for a 512MB stick for now and hope that prices come down...
Dell memory for 1600sc
Crucial memory for 1600sc
For those of you waiting for systems to ship...
Snow and icy rain hit Austin (Dell HQ) today, so there are very few employees (if any) at Dell today. If you call to check on your order you'll get a recording that Dell employees are not there today due to bad weather.
The system I ordered was...
All right, I give up! I caved in and got one. Needed a good all around server since my old one died. After all the coupon codes, rebates, $250 instant off, free shipping, etc. I stepped up to one with the RAID and the hot swap SCSI drives. Also for 50$ more I got the 3 year parts warantee...
A few more bits of info on the 3700 for those comparing cases:
The 3700 DOES have a washable fan filter in the front.
2 USB ports up front (no IEEE1394 as PrinceXizor said).
The side pannel has two latches and swings out, no lock.
The five slot 3.5" drive bay is quick release, the second 3.5...
The 3700 has a 120mm fan mount in the front AND another 120mm fan in the back. This is a great feature for a case this size. You usually have to get into the realy big tower cases to find one that uses 120mm fans. A good 120mm fan will move lots of air quietly compared to a couple of loud...
