Philips PSC703 sound card. Any good?

Anyone here have it or have used it? I need a replacement for my Sb Live because its causing system instability and this card looked good because it is cheap ($46 on pricewatch). I'm also looking into the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz so if you have any experience w/ that card it will be appreciated...

DivX Player getting error messages when I play movies

PC randomly restarting, please help!!

Calling all Radeon AIW owners

Try downloading the latest Beta win2k drivers from rage3d.com. I've seen some benchmarks showing some huge increase in performance in win2k using the newest betas instead of the non-betas.

IE 5.5 sluggishness???

I use IE5. I think it loads pages much quicker than 5.5. Only problem is it can be unstable at times.

CompUSA to stop carrying HP's with AMD Processors

They burn and crack easy?? Hmmm... Nope. If you don't know what you are doing then yes you can break a T-bird or Duron pretty easily but the experienced and careful PC builder has no problem putting a hsf on it without cracking it. PIIIs are newbie-proof :).

The reason why people who shop for PCs at compUSA would take a 1.4ghz P4 over a 1.2ghz T-bird is because (most) compusa shoppers don't know that a 1.2ghz t-bird outperforms a 1.4ghz P4! The uneducated shopper automatically assumes that since the system with the P4 has 200mhz more than the T-bird...
