It's very possible that those things are still crunchy because they are so old that the moisture that would normally lead to staleness is just gone and they're actually just bone dry. that or they're planted ;)

i've had a bunch of logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combos. the mice are always fine but when playing games, it's not lag, but the keyboard goes through spells where instead of just doing what i press, (say i hit w, d, d+w and then a or something like that to do some quick moving in...

Acer 22" widescreen for $329 at Microcenter

16.2 million colors though, 6 bit panel vs full 8 bit - makes a difference in movies, i went from a samsung 710t which was also a 6 bit panel to a 2005fpw and movie just look better aside from being bigger

which fan controller?

I say if you're not budget limited go for the thermaltake hardcano 13, so far its the best i've used, but if you want a knob style controller like those two i'd say go for one of the vantec nexus's. If you want one with temp monitoring and rpm read outs opt for the hardcano13 or the...
